* SPECIAL NEEDS KITTIES: These kitties were rescued off of the streets in bad conditions. Some were born with medical defects while others were injured or sick as newborns. They have all recovered from their issues and will make wonderful pets. They just need some loving care to ensure their safety in a new home.
* NEW RESCUE KITTENS: These kittens were living on the streets and rescued at an older age from about 8 weeks and up. I do not have the heart to put them back out there to fend for themselves if they are easy to handle right away. They will still need some socialization. They are NOT aggressive, only a little timid, but they love to be held once you pick them up and cuddle them.
If you are interested in adopting a SPECIAL KITTY then give me a call to talk about your animal experience and willingness to take a kitten into your forever home. DO NOT adopt one of these kittens if you will not be able to spend quality time with them or are away from home for long periods of time. They need to be around people to adjust to a new home easier.

ISIS - 12 month old tabby/abyssinian female mix. Adoption fee: $95.
What an amazing story of Isis - the Wonder Kitty. She was rescued with her 2 day old baby kittens in Montrose. Someone must have just dumped her on the streets because of her terrible condition and did not want to take her to the vet!
Isis was very ill with her mammary glands swollen and severe skin inflamation due to flea and food allergies. She has scratched most of the hair off of her head and body due to the intense itching. She was also grooming herself to the point she was licking her skin off. She only had a few working nipples so 3 of her babies died immediately after birth.
When she was brought to the Kat House I did not even recognize her as a CAT. She looked more like a Meerkat that you see on Animal Planet with her bald head. But those pretty Cleopatra eyes caught my attention and with much care and medical treatments I nursed her and the babies back to health. I even made her a body suit out of my ski socks to protect her from over grooming and to help her skin heal. She no longer needs to wear the suit but doesn't she look cute!
She is now my greatest rescue story and one of the dearest kitties to my heart. Isis is doing great on her new raw food diet and she has healed up nicely and is the most kissest kitty ever. Don't worry - the raw food is already prepared frozen meat I get at the Feed and Seed Stores. IT IS GREAT STUFF!

Rocky (AKA - BAT BOY!) is a darling kitty that loves to chase his cat friends around the house even though he has slightly poor eye sight in his eyes. His 3rd eyelid was infected as a kitten. Not to worry though. The vet made a small incision to open the lids and he is seeing much better and healed up nicely! Having weaker eyelids doesn't stop him from climbing his kitty condos and jumping into your lap for a snuggle. Rocky is a shy boy with new people and will need a special family to adopt him that will make him feel safe and loved.
Rocky is fully vetted for 1 year and ready to go! Rocky could be adopted by himself or I prefer to adopt him with a friend from the Kat House so he is comfortable. He is best buds with KRISTOPHER!

RAJA: 4 month old black medium hair kitten with one eye. He is a very loving TINY boy. $95 fee
Raja is the brother to Roma and is sweet as can be. Both kittens came to me with severe infections in their eyes which were completely sealed shut and crusted over. Baby Raja was so tiny and very weak that I did not think he would pull through. Luckily he did and after he recently had surgury to remove his damaged eye he has been on a growth spurt and loving life more than ever! He is looking for a home with one of his friends or his adopted mommy ISIS.
** No children or other pets in the home please and he CANNOT go outside!
THE TWINS: 3 month old orange tabby males. Still shy from the rescue but will warm up quickly
$95 each or $150 for the pairs adoption fee for these kittens because they are timid.
Phoenix is the lighter cream color kitten and Tiger is slightly darker orange. They were found in a garbage can and near death. They are still a little shy but this will go away once they are in a new home and they only kitties around. Once you hold them they start purring and are loving to you. They just need to find a trusting family to take them home. Are you open to working with my little boys? They are ready to find the love they never got as babies.
