"Kitten and Cat Adoptions in Los Angeles"

This is a wonderful opportunity for you to help the homeless and abandoned kittens/cats in Los Angeles. Most people don't realize that there are thousands of cats living on our streets, in alleys, dumpsters and in our neighborhoods that have been thrown out by people who don’t want them anymore.
The feral cat population in is the millions. These are wild kittens born to homeless mothers that were not spayed and fathers who were never neutered. A female cat can have up to 4 litters a year with up to 6 to 8 kittens per litter. This can actually produce 420,000 kittens in 7 years!
While most young kittens die due to the harsh environment and starvation, a few make it past the crucial stage of development and now have a daily struggle trying to stay alive.
One rescue kitten I found was living in the dumpster behind Burger King. There she was, a pretty little calico, all alone in the world. Her family had died and her home was now among the trash, rotten food and hundreds of beer cans behind a cement wall. A friend called me up for the rescue when he saw her run out into a busy street and almost get hit by a car - which by the way - never bothered to stop or slow down for her! She is now happy in her new home surrounded by other loving cats to play with.
By adopting a rescue kitten or cat you are helping save a life! You will have a wonderful new friend in your home that will love you unconditionally. Maybe you will open you heart to 2 kitties so they have a buddy to play with all day long!
I have dedicated my time to help these amazing animals with TNR programs and foster care. Feel free to review the pages on my adoption policies, caring for your new kitty and the special programs that I have to offer for your adoption.
I am also going to AFRICA at the end of 2008 to volunteer in the WildLife Sanctuaries and Animal Rehabilitation Centers. If you would like to donate to this cause, please go to my AFRICA RESCUE WORK page to read all about it!
Please Note: This is NOT a rescue organization for your current "pet" that you are trying to place because you are moving or just don't want it anymore. I only work with "stray and feral" cats and kittens.

I welcome all calls for current adoptions or to put you on my waiting list for new kittens to come in. I can also help you with any kitty behavioral questions you may have and offer pet therapy and grooming services.
My goal is to help you find the right kitty at the right time for your home and family.
Come look inside the ”Kat House“ to see photos of all of my adorable furry friends. I know they will touch your heart. They have definitely touched mine!
